GIS application for Malaria Transmission Consortium (MTC) in Lampung, Indonesia

This project is about analyzing results of Malaria transmission control (prevention and intervention methods) by spatial analysis techniques and displaying results within customized Google Earth environment.

The figure above shows different prevention methods used to control Malaria transmission in a village in Lampung, Indonesia in August, 2009. It also shows onset of fever in last 2 week time period. The visual display clearly depicts that fever is prevalent where one prevention method is used and less prevalent where multiple prevention methods are used.
